Booking a court
From Book in the app or on the website:
- Choose Tennis or Pickleball (if your club has both).
- Choose a day. You can book as far ahead as your club allows, a week by default.
- Choose how long. Your club decides which lengths you can pick, such as 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
- Pick an open time. Each one says how many courts are open then. Times start on the hour or half hour.
- Tap Book.
CourtWrangler picks a free court for you. You can also book a specific court from the court board: tap Book next to an open court.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”Your club sets limits so everyone gets a turn. The defaults are below, and your club may use different ones.
| Limit | Default |
|---|---|
| Court time per day | 2 hours |
| Court time per week (Monday to Sunday) | No limit |
| Upcoming reservations held at once | 3 |
| How far ahead you can book | 7 days |
When you have less time left that day than the length you picked, the booking page says so before you choose a time, for example “You have 30 min left that day, so pick a shorter time.”
Only time you book yourself counts. Lessons, leagues, team matches and courts the front desk holds don’t count against you. Time you give back by releasing a court doesn’t count either.
When a time is full
Section titled “When a time is full”If every court is taken, the time shows Full · join waitlist. Tap it to wait in line. You’ll get the next court that frees up. See the waitlist.
If you can’t book
Section titled “If you can’t book”The booking page tells you why, in plain words. The usual reasons are:
- you’re over your daily or weekly hours,
- you already hold as many upcoming reservations as your club allows,
- you already have a court at that time,
- the time is too far ahead,
- outdoor courts are closed for rain,
- online booking is paused after missed reservations. The front desk can still book for you.
