Rainouts
When a club calls a rainout, its outdoor courts close. Indoor courts stay open.
- Reservations on outdoor courts in the rainout’s window are cancelled with no penalty: no no-show, nothing to confirm, and you don’t need to check in or release.
- You’re emailed, with a link to the rainout’s details.
- If you were already playing, the rest of your time is released.
- Outdoor courts can’t be booked while they’re closed.
Who can call one
Section titled “Who can call one”The front desk can always call a rainout. Depending on your club’s settings, players can too:
- Tap Courts wet? on the court board to report it. When two players report within 30 minutes, outdoor courts close.
- At some clubs, any player with an outdoor court that day can close them.
How long it lasts
Section titled “How long it lasts”Your club picks the window. The usual one covers the next 2 hours and keeps extending until staff reopen the courts. Others cover the rest of the day, or last until staff reopen.
When courts reopen
Section titled “When courts reopen”On the rainout page, tap Tell me when courts reopen. You’ll get one email when they do.
