Your reservation
Open a reservation from Today in the app or the home page on the website. It shows the court, the time and what you can do right now.
“Still playing?”
Section titled ““Still playing?””Some time before your reservation, 24 hours by default, your club may email you “Still playing?” with a link to Keep my court or Release it. You don’t need to sign in to use the link. Your reservation in the app and on the website shows the same question.
- Keep my court and nothing else changes.
- If you don’t answer by the time in the email, 2 hours before by default, the court goes back on the schedule for someone else. That isn’t a no-show. You’ll get an email saying it was released.
- You always get at least an hour to answer.
- Courts you book close to the start time, after the question would have been sent, aren’t asked about.
Checking in
Section titled “Checking in”When you get to the club, check in from your reservation: I’m here, check in.
- Check-in opens 15 minutes before your start time.
- Check in by 10 minutes after the start, by default. If nobody checks in by then, the court is released, it counts as a no-show, and other members can claim it.
- Your club may email you a reminder when check-in opens, and again at the start time if you haven’t checked in yet.
Checking in by location
Section titled “Checking in by location”Some clubs ask the app to confirm you’re at the club when you check in. The app asks to use your location once. If you’re too far away, it says so. If you said no to location, it explains how to turn it back on in your phone’s settings. Checking in on the website is a tap.
Releasing a court
Section titled “Releasing a court”Plans change. Releasing lets someone else play, and the court goes to the waitlist first.
| When you release | What happens |
|---|---|
| Before the cancel cutoff (2 hours before, by default) | Cancelled, with no penalty |
| After the cutoff, before the start | Released, and it counts as a no-show |
| While you’re playing | The rest of your time is given back, and it doesn’t count toward your hours |
The release button always says which of these will happen before you tap it.
No-shows
Section titled “No-shows”A no-show is a court you booked and didn’t use: you didn’t check in in time, or you cancelled after the cutoff. By default, 3 no-shows in 30 days pause your online booking for 7 days. You can still play: the front desk can book for you. Rainouts, unplayable courts and unconfirmed courts released for you never count as no-shows.
